All those skincare gurus out there... what is best for bags / dark circles under the eyes? Is it actually possible to minimise or get rid of them once you have them? Which brand of creme actually works?

I really like Dermalogica's total eye care. It has additional Optical light diffusers to help minimize dark circles. Hylexin is another one which is great for serious dark circles.

dark circles are made by blood vessels that are just under the skin, so it's not something that can go away so easily
as for puffiness I can't help you.

for the dark circles try using a concealer with alot of yellow or red in it (to cancel out the blue). then go ahead and put the rest of your makeup.

hope that helps you

DARK CIRCLES AROUND EYES: Make a paste out of 1 tsp. tomato juice, 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder, and 1 tsp. of flour. Apply around eyes. Leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Always try natural before anything...

This doesn't really do much in the long-term, but Clarins Beauty Flash eye cream, followed by the Paula Dorf correcting concealer duo (apricot for under eyes, yellow for eyelids) does wonders for concealing my dark circles :)

i went to the chanel counter at dj's the other day, and the lady was trying to help me find a concealer to cover my dark circles, and she put this creme on them telling me it helps reduce them- within half an hour, no joke, they were much less noticable! I have no idea what the stuff was called but i'm sure any chanel counter will be able to help you out- I havent had a chance to go back and buy the stuff but it was AMAZING!

Hey wait I have something a little more hygienic and cheap (i think!) than tomato paste no offense mychel!

Have you tried tea bags?

You wet the tea bags and then put them at the problem areas...
give it ago!
