We are a local fashion design collective with a 5 year history operating in Austin Texas. We consider ouselves some of the foremothers of the emerging fashion scene here in Austin. Our goal now is to take to the retail streets with our designs, as well as the numerous other local designers and craftspeople we've met, and open up a clothing boutique. We all know that the amount of artistic talent in Austin is huge compared to the outlets for which to showcase that talent, so we will keep the store's empashis on Austin fashion designers. The beauty of operating here in Austin is that we've found it to be quite a nurturing and supportive place for people like us, and we feel that the next logical step is to open ourselves and our craft up to the public in the retail arena. We would like to incorporate local musicians and artists (in the form of artshows, live bands, etc)..basically support everyone who has helped us along the way...into the uniqueness of our store. We are humbly asking for help with our start up costs, which we project will be somewhere in the arena of $5000. This is a very small amount for end result, a small piece that will add to the thriving and artistic Austin scene, a piece worth more than anyone could put a price on. We would like to tell you a little bit more about our ideas, and we will gladly supply a business plan to anyone interested in hearing more about us or assisting with our project.
