How to get sued by Levi's

Own a denim brand it seems.

Since 2001, close to 100 companies have been sued by Levi's - all for trademark infringement.

While I'm sure there are a lot of valid cases, some just seem far fetched to me. Some of the details that Levi's have sued over include the following stitching;

and the following leather patches

thats a little overboard. I can understand Karen Kane and Jelessy look a lot alike but really...

It's not exactly an intricate pattern... don't know why they'd bother being that petty.

Oh and it is most likely that they watch who enters thier market and follows their development until the new comer has got dollars in their account to play with before they shall sue them.

Easyer to cut a new player out of the market then it is to compete.
