Hey everyone!

Ok it is that time of year for me that I need to go and splash out on a brand new pair of Staple jeans for the season... but with so many new lables out I dont know where to start which is devestating as this is normally my biggest area of expertise. Soooo what is everyones opinion at the moment? They need to be stocked in melbourne though so I can go and try them on... straight leg or skinny - whats do you think???

Any opinions are going to be muchly appreciated!!!

Oooh luckily we just covered jeans in a Daily Desire though I'm not sure how likely you'd be get a pair in Melbourne.

Skinny legged, low waisted jeans are certainly still in, and more favourable to the boot trend.

It's a bit of a matter of preference. Are you looking for a short-term trend because then there are wide leg jeans as an option.

No no definitly a staple pair to keep around for a long time. Skinny or striaght definitly. A brand that covers the basics - easily dressed up with heels, flattering cut... the perfect pair of jeans really... hahaha...ahhhhh :-s

I just dont know what the 'most desired' brands in aus are at the moment??? I struggle with buying sizes over the net... plus it takes half the fun out of it... unless I find out the "IT" brand, and then I will contemplate buying online! I need brand names!!! lol

Have you tried Sass and Bide? I just checked on their website and they have a store in Melbourne although where abouts it is don't ask because I live over the other side of the world! Hope I helped in some way!

True Religion have a great selection of styles and washes and the fit is amazing.

check out www.acnejeans.com. its a danish brand. they have all sorts of jeans! whether its skinny jeans, low cut, high waist.
theyre hot and they fit perfectly!

Siwy jeans have become quite an 'it' brand having been spotted frequently on Kate Moss. They're stocked at Torsa boutique in Prahran and also Cactus Jam I think. Could also try Cactus Jam for Superfine.
