browny those are boys cars. and besides the chances of a dodgey import are too high. i dont mind the sylvia but i find the back end too low. all wrx's are ugly. how is an r34 luxurious? skylines= ricer cars :P
Check out the new Nissan 350Z. Its real great value for money that encompasses performance, price, looks and luxury. And there's a convertable version....
What do you think of the convertible versus the hard-top? In my eye the convertible looks very much like it's channelling 1930's cars (a good thing), while I find the hard top very similar to the Audi TT.
my friend totalled a 350z! he drove INTO a shell petrol station. well the sign anyway lol.. though i wouldnt call it value for money and the suspension is bone-jarringly tight! the new audi tt though, thats jsut beautiful!
Stylistically, the 350Z convertible doesn't do it for me. It's a lot less purposeful than the 350Z hard top, which has a great presence. The convertible is definitely built for cruising (huge stereo, heated seats so you don't get cold with the top down) but the performance is a lot softer than the hard top; heavier, cruiser gearbox ratio, and the absence of the optional 'track pack' Brembo's like in stereofly's avatar. The S2000 is a much better performance roadster, but hey, at least the 350Z convertible has a clock.
As for channeling the 1930's, I think the Lexus SC430 should come standard with top hat and driving gloves.
Or what about Mercedes Benz's 'Ocean Drive' concept?
