I am looking at the Peugeot 206cc (black with beige interior) probably 2003 but a friend is saying to go for the Holden Tigra (I will go for the blue or silver)...any thoughts from you pros? I will test drive them both but would like to know any fine details if any... :-) (sorry - at work and haven't had the opportunity to read the previous contributions by you all)

Pooh...just read that the Tigra is manual only! I have manual licence but would like auto. Dang.

hahaha, i'm sorry but i have seen many a thread like this..

ppl start talking about clk's and s2000's but end up with an astra or a getz...

my advice is go for something classic... :P
But then again i haven't owned a car that wasn't younger then i am hahaha :P

My pre-reqs were...

small car
Rear wheel drive
4 door
manual
6 cly
not common
sun roof
I had to compromise on the sunroof, but the result was...

1975 corona mark 2, there are probably 20 left in aus that are still running, the rest are now spare parts wahahaha!

Can work, I'm looking to invest in an old-school MG this year. If not that, then an Audi TT.

Aaaw I so want an Audi TT...how hot are they! Out of my price range though...considering the estimated time I have a vehicle before crashing it is less than a year. Dang.
But thinking black right dpd?

Yeah, black is the preference. Though if I got the Quattro convertible I'm tempted to go for the lighter blue to match with the baseball glove, moleskin seats.

Either and or on the TT front. I prefer the new one, but I think the older is more likely to become a classic.
