Got my 21st this year and was brainstorming for some ideas but they always lead back to the same place! Got good ones?

Are you thinking of clubbing or an organised party?

If it's organised - how about a fancy dress. Send out invites telling everyone it's fancy dress, just don't tell them which type of fancy dress. Thus everyone turns up in all sorts of eclectic styles!

How big is it going to be? I mean, do you have heaps of people to invite, or a small group (in which case you could probably come up with some cool activity or another)... Or if it's a bigger thing, are there any really cool clubs around Perth you could go to?

Organised parties more than clubbing I think are suitable for 21sts, just because 21sts are the best time to mingle and talk to people and when you're in a club, it's really difficult. I love themed parties, especially ones that means boys must dress up in suits =P

Themes around this include:
* Red Carpet
* The Golden Age of Cinema
* a Mafia party complete with (water)guns

On the total other side, tonight I'm going to a "fugly" themed party which is going to be v. fun to dress up for =P

Boys I know have had:
* "Aussie" themed parties i.e. mullets, singlets, beer cans
* "P" party - i.e. polar bear, pimp, etc etc
* "Sports"
* Ancient History" - gladiators etc

I love the idea of the Rubix cube party where you come dressed in different colours then swap clothes until you're one colour at the end of the night, but logistics wise, it sounds fairly difficult to implement.

I had a belly dancer it mine... was quite some time ago, but I was in bed for three days afterwards and managed to lose one of the diamond earrings mum gave me for my 21st on my 20th, she got the year wrong. Anyway, it was lots of fun had by all, and sure beat the pants of my 30th which is something I'd rather forget.

A 'fugly' party huh... now do you try and wear something really fugly but still try and manage to look good despite the fugliness of your clothes? If you know what I mean... or do you just go for all out FUGLY?? Odd question I know.

What are you planning to wear amethyst?
Some great ideas there btw - what do you think 0utta Control... any closer to making a decision?
