I am a terrible cook (although im trying to improve)...

At the moment im just doing very basic dishes like spaghetti and salad, does anyone have any suggestions for interesting recipes I can look up? Maybe something international?

cook dishes you really like.
learn those and practise them to death.

what I do is give myself iron chef style challenges where I'll grab something from the store (often that I've never even heard of) and experiment with it incorporate it into some of the dishes I usually make (if you do this though be prepared for things not work out)

just go out to different restaurants and try their specialties and most popular dishes and do your own take on them.

good luck ren

I've neen looking for some different foods recently, after being sent two vegan orientated books to review. There are some delicious sounding recipes in there, but finding the ingredients hasn't proved easy.

Risotto is my favourite at the moment. I always use chicken stock instead of beef, makes a difference for me. & I like making mum keep fresh chicken stock in the freezer for me. :)

i love food :) lately ive been doing a lot of risotto too (its so easy! ) and pasta's (another easy one). been trying to go healthy with lots of vege's and stir fry's. A tip- if you dont want to use a lot of oil, get yourself some good non-stick pots and pans and you can cut the oil you use. And the womans weekly cookbooks are pretty good (you can get them at supermarkets too)- most of the recepies are easy and pretty fool-proof!
