Good evening all. I wanted to quickly introduce myself and say hello to the Fashionising community.

My name is Andrea Acailawen. I'm a photo stylist, art director and model, turned jewelry and accessory designer, as well as Managing Editor of In Style News. After several years designing jewelry, accessories and props for use in artistic, commercial and editorial photography as part of my styling work, I decided to take my designs more into the mainstream. My primary focus as a designer is couture jewelry and accessories, although I do periodically offer a limited selection of fashionable garments as well.

I launched my new design label, Acailawen Designs, earlier this year. You can view my new website at www.acailawendesigns.com to learn more about my background and my designs, view my professional design portfolio and more.

Note: I do not yet have a store set up on the new site, as I've been tied up with photoshoots and still need to narrow down storefront options and payment processors (recommendations in this area are definitely welcome!) That said, I do have a shop on Etsy, which I need to update over the next week or so, as much of my recent work is not presently listed. Inquiries through my website are always welcome.

I am also accepting fashion and product styling work, but am mostly taking a break from modeling and side makeup work until spring 2009 in order to focus on my designs.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know many of you in the upcoming months.
