After coming across a number of photos today or models smoking, I thought I'd put the question out there - despite all the health warnings, is smoking still sexy?

To me personally, even the most stunning girls cant make smoking look sexy....i just cant help but affiliate coughing, tar and bad breath with it instead. Although strangely enough, I dont hold cigars to be as bad as cigarettes...

hmm i smoke, but not be sexy- coz its a frickin habit i cant kick! and i dont knopw why i started :(
i dont think its necessarily lokos 'sexy' but it can add something different to a photo.
like that first pic- if she wasn't holding the ciggy it would just be a normal headshot- but it gives her a bit of attitude. people who smoke to TRY and be sexy- not cool. those 2 girls in that last pic look like they are tyring to make sure people see their ciggys.
in snapshots like that it does nothing, but as i said, in the first pic which is obviously from a proper shoot- it gives it something a bit different

no. it smells. it makes your hair smell, your teeth and fingers yellow, you car, clothes, fingers, everything stink. not sexy at all. I adtually find it more trashy than anything else

Has it ever been sexy?

Smoking has to be one of the worst habits anyone can possibly have. I think its disgusting. Whats more, is it violates non-smokers choice of not to smoke, as you end up inhaling the stuff anyway. It makes your clothes smell aweful too. What a waste of time it is, buying perfume to simply hide it with the smell of cigarettes. Its so un-classy, and most definitely NOT sexy.

Okay...I think Smoking is so sexy on some people...if you are homeless and ugly, it's not gonna work for you, but if you are a model, I think it is so "Old Hollywood" or French looking and terribly sexy...that said, I've never smoked a cigarette in my life.

I can pretty much echo those exact sentiments.

especially with one of those long fancy ciggarette holders- ive seen some cool looking ones
