Is your business the only thing you do?

To those of us that own businesses, is it the only thing you do - or do you do other things to supplement your income?

They sure as heck do! But I guess they are considered more of an expense rather than an income, lol.

Photography's is my only income and it keeps me on my feet 7 days a week. The only thing is I want to shift my primary source's of income from, editorial, corporate and events to fashion and advertising.

modeling, inless you are in the top 1%, is a very inconsistent income... you can be making bucks hand over fist for a month, than it drops off inexplicably! it's a great idea to have a backup plan- for me, i love helping people set goals physically- either losing weight, building muscle, etc, so it's natural, and convenient for me to be a personal trainer/nutritionist. when you go to castings, and you haven't been working for a while, you can appear almost desperate, which is definately something you do NOT want to convey!!!
