I was going to post this earlier but i didnt think it would really get this big as the hype anyways hear my take on it..
same thing at the same time?
real dispute?
propaganda?
does anyone actually think this has been on the cards for sometime now? or is it just the fact that everyone hates supermodels so much now after the massive campaign over size zeros??

The only two quotes I've seen are both fron Lily

"I've seen a couple of pieces - they look cool. Would I wear them? Me, personally? I don't think I'd fit in them."

"All my dresses are super-girly but that doesn't mean you have to be a size zero. They're easy to wear. In fact, the more curves the better!"

I haven't come across anything from Kate in terms of a reply, but I think it's just a beat up over noting, must have been a slow news day.

Oh and I think Kate Moss for TopShop looks a lot nicer the New Look.

i tottally agree with you, kate moss is a very british girl and stands up 4 that. i would say lily allen has a very american outlook on the way she does things with p.r and so on.. joss stone at the brits saying how "y'all" doing got "boo'd" which i didnt understand seen as it is a very common word and she lives in america and is obviously going to adapt and pick things up. so why tear down our biggest export in the fashion industry so much i cant understand.
size zero is such a big issue.
size zero should not be nocked if you can maintain good health and a good lifestyle.
it shouldnt be glamourised for obvious reasons also. whereas obsecity is a big problem and it needs to be dealt with and personally i dont think the solution would to be having overweight supermodels.

With the Kate Moss v Lily Allen 'propaganda' I would say Kate Moss is hotter/cooler and size 0 which is sometimes an unrealistic goal for many girls, but on the other hand while lily is more curvy, does it necessarily look better? I dont think so.

I watched Lilly in an interview this morning and she was talking about both collections she said she was sick of being compared to Kate Moss because they are both entirely different people with totally different styles. She also said that (despite what the media might say) she has nothing against Kate in fact she thinks she's really nice because at Glastonbury a few years ago Kate stuck up for Lilly when some girls were trying to pick a fight with her!

awwww :) yeah it would be more media hype than anything else!
