AMERICAN glamour girl Mandy Moore and Jamaican American reggae singer Sean Kingston are coming to Flemington.

Confidential can reveal that the two will be special guest performers at the Victoria Racing Club's "Beautiful Girls" fashion lunch on Wednesday, March 3.
From news.com.au

Should make it a fun day.

I read the program yesterday(better lay out then last years), and they are flogging docklands alot. But im more in disgust that they make such a huge deal out of this festival. Dont get me wrong i am all for supporting local and international labels. And i think the forthcoming designers is a great idea.

But come on, when do u get off putting a Dotti parade in Loreal Melbourne Fashion. Next it will be the likes of Supre, Debrah K and Millers Fashion Club. Its disgusting. Or is it just me who is a snoot?

I can see both sides of this coin. It's a festival, open to any fashion / lifestyle company willing to be included. I'd rather never see Dotti in any festival, but they do serve as a good introduction to consumerism for a growing market.
