Went and picked up a new Ralph Lauren polo today, I'm going to try this with black and pink, with the latter underneath.

layering is different for everyone.. if you make it work for you then thats good..
Just make sure you like it.. It all depends on what your layering... somethings look good.. some dont!! hahaha.. Just like everything

Just to drop you an informative note:

Not with standing the times in which live in which conflict still exist, the aspect of ones own consciousness with the power to personally develop more values should be the focus " layering " for us all. The real grain of human courage is for one to develop one's own personalized system of values.

Layering is definitely a yes as long as you know HOW to layer. If you arent sure how to put it together and make it work, I would suggest staying away from layering. You will end up looking like you threw things together in the dark and walked out without knowing what you looked like.
Save yourself from social scrutiny =] only layer if you know how!

I agree. Layering is hot as long as you know how to make it look good on your particular body.

not a fan of polo layering but thats my prefference. its just doubling up on things, two exactly the same collars, two pair ribbed sleeves, just doesnt register in my books. Ive seen a guy do a triple polo layer and it just looked terrible in my books, all 3 collars popped up too. Seemed to be quite big in the US I think, well thats where all the pics I've seen originated from. This was a while back so its been around for a while. Maybe there's a reason why it hasn't caught on. I would hate to see someone sport this in full blown aussie summer.

I think layering is great but not the same thing, the only thing I would consider doubling up on is singlets, one normal and one low cut, but thats about it.

In the first season of project runway, Austin Scarlett wears the same shirt in two colours, the one underneath is like a dark blue check and on top he has a pale pink check, Anyway I thought looked really good. While I admit that he has very flamboyant style I thought that it had potential for the everyday man. One problem though is that doubling up layers can make the fabric sit in a way that adds unflattering bulk.
