Love layering! I layer my clothes every single day!
Love the boys polo top layering - love it for chicks 2!
I layer clothes backwards on my son! (he's 2) - but a singlet over his bodysuit! Looks funky as - even on a 2year old! LoL!
His so fashion UNCOOL dad came up with that one.
All in all layering is my daily life source when it comes to dressing, and as 'dressdarling' said it can allow summer pieces to creep into winter - which as a continual snow/beach bunny (who cant make her mind up which is best) helps me blend the two!

Layering is awesome! I really like to mix and match, so layering is perfect for that.

I usually play layering also on my son :D
I really enjoy him wearing a long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeve polo, e.g. white t-shirt under orange polo.
I find it really works on grown up men too.

Layering is very good when the weather is not predictable. It gives freedom to choose your clothing during the day. When I wear many layerings I try to be comfortable on every single layer because it may look good as a whole but you also need to think how it would look if you take off some of them.

Layering during the winter months is nice, but sometimes just playing it simple for summer is really sexy. A black tank tucked in with grey skinny jeans and sky high heels can go far. You can always bring a light scarf or sweater if you think there might be a breeze.

dunno whether this has been mentioned, but personal experience is there's more opportunity to layer in winter than in the summer... depending on where you live in the summer you just want to get the flesh out.

uhh layering polos is hideous and for tools. its about as grotesque a fashion move as popping your collar, donning Crocks, or wearing sandals with socks---in the winter time. but that's just my opinion.
layering in general is a totally different matter.

Layering is definitely the way to go. i don't think there's been a day this winter where i havent, especially at work where i have about 5 layers due to the freezing winds!!
I think a polo over a long sleeve top could be ok depending on colours, not sure bout two polos though, have to be honest

I love to layer and think it may be one of the most practical things for any fashion lover to copy cat in real life. Living out here in Ottawa, Canada learning to be a layer professional becomes natural if you want to stay warm!
You have control as to how many layers you put on, and this is a trend that can work all year round. I like to layer tanks in the summer and cardigans over a few tops in the winter.
