Leopard print... are you wearing it?

Ok, so you couldn't really miss that leopard print is everywhere at the moment. There was a time when it was reserved for the only the trashiest of people, but Kate Moss appears to have changed that. It's been quite slow to cotton on, but since Kate's been wearing leopard print ballet flats, and the odd leopard print dress, it's become a more mainstream thing.

As cool as some people (such as Kate) can make it look, there's still a part of me that sees animal prints as a no go. What does everyone think? Are you wearing leopard prints?

I think one focal piece in the right fabric can look gorgeous. A pair of leopard print shoes, a silk cami or a cute little clutch. Leopard print also looks great in toned down colours like black and charcoal like the recent DVF release.

DVF's latest release - Abel wrap dress. Multi-colored pleated silk leopard print mini.

I very much like the leopard print trend but it's definitely most effective in moderation or fine covering a large area if the item is modest (so not a boob tube or anything tight and synthetic..).

I luv my ballet flats, got them in QLD for Christmas!! I must admit though, none of the males that I have asked for their opinions on them have seemed to like them.

If you can make it work for you then go ahead, I think though you'll need some major flair to pull it off in large amounts. Though I think it can look cute in small amounts :).

Having said that it will be a very long time till you see me wearing any leopard print ;)
