Lady Gaga became a star over night, and now she's all over the place!
Her outfits sure are extreme, and would anyone other than her actually wear clothes like that? Did you get inspired by her? Post pictures of yourself or someone you know, wearing fashion a la Lady Gaga. Make it a trend!

Hey everyone! Love the forum. Lady Gaga has totally exploded and shaken up the whole fashion scene. I have a lot of respect for such an avant-garde artist. She's like our modern day Grace Jones. I had no idea she was so young -- 23!

But she doesn't want her style to become a trend. She wants to be different so her performance is more awe-inspiring. If her style became a trend that factor would be lessened :( We wouldn't want that, surely.

She performs well and her songs are great but I just don't like her fashion style. Definitely, it wouldn't be an everyday trend for me..

Perhaps not an everyday trend but you have to admire her guts for what she wears. So in your face it is fab.

Lady Gaga certainly has created her own style. As far as a comparison to Grace Jones...I would have to favor Grace Jones. Her style was a perfect blend of artistic excellence, compelling style, oddity, magnetic attraction, and admirable strength. If Lady Gaga is a pop oddity princess, then Grace Jones is would be the Queen. Another singer who I would give a lot of props to is Annie Lennox as being a less extreme version of Grace Jones where she married the eclectic artistic look with fashion/style, and exuded a great balance of femininity and strength..both Annie and Grace took the cake when it comes to exuding an almost "regal" presence in a very non traditional, yet intriguing way. There are very few if any pop stars we have now that can really present that...we have our exhibitionist and divas, but not that kind of "strength" and full grasp on blending real strength with womanhood.

lady gaga is unique and i think the best way to follow her trend is to take bits and pieces from her wardrobe.. to me she's a walking runway show. No one can pull of the looks verbatim, but when used as inspiration it always works!

she has no personal style. she does whatever her team tells her to do.
