Now i am aware that this has nothing to do with Fashion but I want to let you guys in on what I am doing at the moment!
I am so excited to announce to you all that I have been accepted onto the production team of The Oaktree Foundation with "Zero Seven" the 2007 Make Poverty History Road Trip.
Please check out the following websites, and add the youtube links to either your profile here, or on myspace or even if you just e-mail them to your friends who you think may be intrested. It is these small things that really do make a massive diffrence... we can and WILL make a difrence, we will eradocate poverty!
I haven't had a chance to read over everything, but it seems like a fantastic contribution to society Corrine! I'm particularly impressed by what the Oaktree Foundation are doing, in aiming to make a difference through education.
It's similar to my feelings on the current immigration policy of Australia, where we're giving refugees permanent residency and encouraging them to become citizens. I think it's actually counter-productive for their country of origin, as the country will actually be depleted of its skilled and white collar labour once its troubles are over. The refugees we've taken in, having been educated here, are actually the best chance for their country to rebuild and should be actively encouraged to return and take part in that process.
Its true - we can make a difference, so im behind MPH all the way! Good for you Corrine, I didn't know where to find the info so thanks for letting us know :)
