I like male models to be manly as they are a good perve, but i do like the look of the skinnier male model. But it has to be a Healthy, Defined look, i dont want to see a side of ribs with my calvins, a pointy elbow with my burberry or a neck bone with my dior.

Unhealthy is so subjective =D Someone with anorexia might claim they're healthy, an industry outsider might call the average runway model anorexic.

Rick Owens models are definitely on the extreme end, but work perfectly with the broken aesthetic...

Cole Mohr and Tane Andrews really capture me

As far as bodies go, the model from the Dior Homme SS06 campaign strikes me as an ideal balance of lean and defined.

I totally agree! I have friends who are quite naturally that thin. They don't lack energy and they don't get sick.

To me, this guy appears to be at an unhealthy level. Can't say for sure that he is obviously, but it's certainly more bones than I've ever seen on a guy before.

Woah the first two actually scared me... that's too thin for my liking.

Eating disorders do not discriminate.

There are some different triggers but it has been theorised (I say "theorised" because there have not been enough clinical trials done to go down as medical fact) that anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa and the like are forms of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). It's plausible and denotes the reasoning behind why many suffers of eating disorders also have differing manifestations of OCD (eg. obsessive cleaning). OCD is not stereotyped as a "girls'" disease and neither should eating disorders.

If anyone has seen the British documentary "I am a Boy Anorexic" (you can view it on youtube; there are six parts) it is obvious that while the reasoning behind eating disorders in males is different to females, that does not mean it is classed as a female disorder.

This whole thread just made me more self conscious.

Aww, don't be self-conscious. If you're naturally thin and you're healthy, that's fine! It's when there are obsessive behaviours and unhealthiness and mental disorders that it becomes an issue!

Plus, I know of many girls (including myself) who prefer slim guys over tanked ones - stress less! :)
