Male Models "Too Fat for Paris"

Posted: 13.06.2008 at 22.33
It's offensive when people assume that I'm a junkie or I don't eat. When looking for pants, the common responses I get are :
1. Try kid's department
2. Try the ladies department
3. Have you tried eating?/Try puting on weight.

I think I need to find a wife, either that or start seeing someone from a European background so the parent's force feed me... Any takers? hahaha

I wonder what type of guys they'll get for the new show model show on Seven.

Modelling shows more often than not get people who are going to create good television; if they become good models too, that' even better.

They also tend to be rather politically correct when it comes to casting.

I know how we can solve this. All male models need to come past my office, strip off and if i cringe that means they are unhealthy and will get a food voucher and not enter the fashion arena, and the ones i give my phone number too can go on to succeed. I think its a very logical way to determine the not so healthy. And a great way to spend my day. HAHA

I know i'm a johnny come lately to this thread but this post was absolutely hillarious.

My opinion: Men were made to be bulky. I'm not saying that gender roles and steriotypes always need to be followed by the books. But Manorexic models are scarier than the too-thin photoshopped runway models that caused such a big contraversy a couple of years ago. I do agree that thin male models didn't get all the attention that females did. But i'm pretty sure that's just the way the chips fall, deal with it.
