Fashionising members, Marajoara Swimwear, have designed a couture Great Barrier Reef swimsuit to raise money for children affected by HIV/AIDS. They are among over 60 Australian designers taking part in the UNICEF Blue String Project. The pieces will be auctioned on eBay for the cause.

"MaraJoara are very proud to have contributed to this great cause," says Leesa Fogarty. "We will continue to work with UNICEF Ambassador, Miss World Australia 2007, Caroline Pemberton throughout the year in an ongoing commitment to help the prevention of HIV/AIDS."

Some of you may remember Marajoara from last years Miss World Australia competition, where they raised more than $3M in much needed funds for Australian charities.

To bid on these designs visit www.eBay.com.au/charity and then click on to the Madison / Shop 'til You Drop logo. The auction starts at 8pm on May 6 and finishes at 6pm on May 16.

Although it's my charity of choice I can't really see this looking good on me, can only imagine what concepts they came up with for the men (sea cucumbers?) Hmmm.
