i like the look, maybe not with the pulled up socks as much, but its relaxed and sexy schoolboy ;) ... not sure about the black an gold sequins thing on the extreme right tho...

I think you're definitely right about the shorts having to be above the knee to balance out the look - longer shorts just wouldn't work as well.

Yeah I'm not keen on the above the knee socks, mostly because that was my school's summer uniform, but the overall look can be great. I've worn it a few times myself, it's a good up scale to an outfit in the evenings.

Oh ignore the socks - no socks...we're not doing socks this season... aren't we? haha
I just couldn't find enough non-socks photos :(
