The tv stations were buzzing this morning with news highlights from the election yesterday. At one point, an interviewer told First Lady Michelle Obama that she was more impressive as a fashion icon than the incomparable Jackie O. I was thoroughly irritated.
Really? SERIOUSLY??
Mrs. Obama is by all means fashionable with a look that works for her, but why not leave it at that instead of placing her on a pedestal above someone whose fashion sense has set a fashion standard that has PROVEN to last through time? I highly doubt that future fashion gurus are going to swap Jackie for Michelle as a fashion standard.
