Hi to all the models on Rogue

I was just wondering which agencies you are currently signed with and how you managed to get placement with them. To start off, im with CMD, Panache and Kreate and i got placement by doing alot of TFCD and persistence.

I've applied to most of the major agencies here in Sydney and while they all gush over my 'look' they have all balked at my height and refused to sign on the dotted line.

The bulk of my work is free-lance. I am signed with a few smaller agencies but the majority of the work they offer is just promotional and small time TV commercials. Stuff I'm not really interested in. The fun work (music videos, short films, art and fashion modelling) is all stuff I have gotten myself without the help of an agency.

I go back every few months and the response has been getting a little warmer, that door isn't slamming so fast. I think I am wearing them down ;)

CMD and Panache are both promotional right? i was asked to join but they have age restrcitions so ye.... chadwicks and viviens are r the best for serious models but its very hard getting in, thats why they are the best i guess

whopps, i sent you a pm before i read the fourms. CMD and panache dont have exclusivity in their contracts if thats what you mean by restrictions. They do do promotions, but they also do photographic work, i hate promotions!

i ment that panache for promotions have age restrictions.... im 16.hehe in ur pm u sed to try for some modelling agencies, alas my height will never be good enough :( 163cm iv been told to try for photograghic work but i doubt it will happen.... i like promotions you get to meet cool people and work for big businesses, i shall stick to that :)

CMD have modelling work as well as promotions. i've been offered work from them without finalising the paper work! These jobs included modelling and promotional stuff.
I met CMD through Miss teen Australia. They took on a few of us after the Vic final
My height has restricted me to, i frequently got told i was too short but i think some agencies are starting to care less about height! good luck tho!

I know what you girls mean about the *short* thing- I once had a friend drag me and another friend along to some agency she had an interview thing (don't know what it was about) because she was nervous, and when the lady came out to get her she asked if I was interested in modelling (something about my face being symmetrical?) untill she saw me stand up without shoes on- "oh you need to grow about 2 inches"!
Actually I felt bad- the friend who dragged us got told to go for a course (aka nopes) and the other hand holder got offered a contract by phone 2 hours later!
