im a more of an adriana fan too.
they are alot of looks what people want though and if they fit the bill then they will get the work, i would say they are alot of looks which i dont really see who they to appeal to though aswell...im thinking its because deigners are really concerned about pushing there visions and if that means using these models to show that then they will.

I would have agreed before, but actually, I have seen Sasha be very versatile...I have come to like her a lot.

I don't think the fashion industry is known for subtlety, these models gets their message across easier I guess.

Conversely I absolutely adore those "alien faced" models. I love their kinda "off beat" beauty. But I really don't get those boring, over-tanned or brazilian victorias secret type models like gisele, adriana, alessandra...

Definitely the slightly unusual beauties have something to unique going for them. With the Victoria's Secret models I agree they're more cliche but they're doing a particular job and they do it really well.
