It seems that pairings between big designers and big stores is a trend that will continue to bring high end fashion to the masses.

Target will pick up Alice Temperley for its Go International initiative, being announced on May 16 at the Target studio in NYC. She will be joining Luella Bartley, Behnaz Sarafpour, and Proenza Schouler - other interational designers for Target. The line will hit stores in October, however the retailing giant is going to unveil its plans on May 16.

If you're getting sick of the designer collaborations, how about this?

Big name Australian designers Akira, Wayne Coooper and Bettina Liano have created designer shampoos for Sunsilk.

p.s. what sort of input did they have? They clearly weren't allowed creative scope with package design.

They designed the cover of the packages? I notice they're all different. You can sort of get the Bettina Liano feeling from the black bottle?

Maybe they let them choose ingredients too not sure how good an idea that would be though :S
