I bought a mosquito net for above my bed on the weekend & wanted to know if anyone has one or has had one & if they're potentially dangerous?? I don't want to destroy my roof so i've hesitated thus far in hanging it. Any advice?

What style is it SoHo? The old Victorian type?

i love mosquito nets!
depends on how heavy it is i guess? if its heavy then make sure you drill into a cross beam, otherwise a cuphook in the ceiling may hold it? i'd go cross beam though!

sounds tricky, but if you pull it off it will look amazing...I love them they add so much character! Maybe hire a professional to hang it up initially?

I have a king size bedroom suite and its so lush, the net does pull it all together! My room is like a haven!!! (the net is currently hanging from the a wall hook to the side but overlaying all my pillows, looks goooood) I also have a pink lamp which is such an awesome effect!
I think I'll hire someone to hang it initially.
I am scared of the same thing *clare* or simply getting tangled and the roof caving in on me...lol.
