A friend of mine wanted a Motley Crue t-shirt for fashion/trend reasons. It all started when she saw a picture of Mischa Barton wearing a Motley Crue tshirt. She doesn't even know who Motley Crue are and she doesn't even like 80s rock or metal. get annoyed when people wear band t-shirts because it looks good but they're not a fan of the band, it just doesn't make sense. Sometimes, I think the Marilyn Manson t-shirts looks quite nice but I wouldn't wear it because I'm not a fan of him, but I do like a few of his songs, but that's not enough for me to purchase a t-shirt of him.
I think they're one of those styles that will just keep coming back.
However, as other's have said, I think they're best pulled off if you actually listen to the bands you're promoting!
I LOVE BAND TEE'S!!!!!! They rock, and are such a massive part of our generation and the generation before us. they are totally sexy and show people unique personalitys. It does piss me off when people are wearing t-shirts by bands that they havent even heard of let alone know the music... i dont see the point of trying to be cool in that way when you dont even know what kind of cool they are!
Megan Fox of Transformers fame wore a vintage Megadeath tee last week with some rather unstylish velour tracksuit pants and ugg-boots... though, to give the girl a break, she did just step off a flight.
i think megan is gorgeous, the tee is cute, though sunglasses inside annoys me however she probably is hiding the bags under her eyes after a long flight so i suppose i can forgive her, we wouldnt want to think she was normal or anything :)
Mischa Barton revisited this trend yet again, dressing right down for the Miss Sixty parade at New York fashion week. This time it was a vintage Eagles tee and minimal makeup.
Though most front-row celebrities tend to dress up for such occasions Miss Sixty are known for their rock-chic casual wear, so Mischa was fitting well with the theme. Are you a fan of her outfit? Vote here.
