I work for a large insurance company and my boss just told me our entire division is closing at 5pm due to Melbourne's weather today (normally operating hours are until 6pm. I'm not claims btw.) It appears (as highlighted on the BOM website) that a hailstorm is scheduled for later this evening.
Leave early...BONUS! haha

Nothing exciting so far but I'm looking forward to the hail hmm just thinking where I'm going to park my poor car :S

Lots of train problems going on (at least Connex have the excuse of the weather today ;) )

I attempted to walk along a path today with my mate to get some lunch and we nearly got impaled by a branch... and I felt all gritty and gross afterwards because the wind had blown up all the dirt... stupid wind getting sand in my eyes...

For anyone who has seen Umbilical Brother's Speedmouse, think of "This is the walking against the wind!"

Looking forward to hail though... it's the closest thing to snow we can hope for in the city of Melbourne!!

How fantastic was the weather! Sand and leaves everywhere. Some rain, but alas no hail :( But thank God Winter weather is finally here!
