Which do you prefer? They seem to be having a battle, Myer with Jennifer Hawkins and DJ's with Mischa and Megan Gale..

Chalk and cheese. They might be opposite eachother in the major cities, but the aim at a completely different clientele. David Jones sells much better clothes and is far more high-brow, whereas Myer sells to a much cheaper market (can you imagine a David Jones in Dandenong or Frankston?) and stocks clothes accordingly.

Generally prefer David Jones, better designer labels and the city store is gorgeously presented due to the style of the old building :)

I take it all back. They both support the demolition of Melbourne's heritage and I no longer shop at either.

Apparently, DJ's latest TV campaign had Megan Gale saying that DJs will price match now? I say apparently as I've never seen the ad...then again, I hardly watch TV.

Their furniture department will more than price match, they'll undercut to the extreme when it's on the top tier items.
