Does anyone have any suggestions for popular punk/rockabilly/alternative boutiques...or even some higher end, edgy boutiques (a la Betsey Johnson) to visit while in New York?

My company Pretty Lonesome is traveling there in October and is doing some research on some good retail places to hit during the stay.

Any suggestions would be super helpful!

for funky boutiques i suggest brooklyn.. i loved it there! burlesque to vintage has it all..
greenwich & the meatpacking district is also great.. can find high end fashion at the meatpacking district..
5th avenue is quite mainstream..
