Online Love

It is possible. I'm one of the shallowest people in the universe. If the looks aren't there, fuhget about it! But I did have a fine romance with someone who's looks I only knew as a charicature drawing on the internet. His words sucked me in, and when I met him 6 months later, even though appearance-wise he was not my typical 'type', I was in boots n all!

Actually, now when I think of it with an open mind...it is possible, I know quite a few people who've met online & have successful relationships but the attraction was there from the beginning & they lived in the same cities. I also know there are quite a few Internet Sluts (as I like to call them) out there too!
But hey, I say good luck to you S.Mc.C & go for it if it feels right!!
He sounds like a hottie with a personality...

I say go for it... just be careful...
don't get bogged down with what other people think... you may meet him and think omg i never want to see him again, or you may meet him and find the man of your dreams.... i say go for it, just stay safe...

I hope you weren't referring to me Babi ;) hehehe

My friend here gave me a great advice...don't freak out or get freaked out just let it be and see what happens...so that's what I'm gonna do...just let it develop itself.

If you want to see what he looks like This is his website

The guy I'm with now I met online. We used to write on the same website about 6 years ago and just got to talking, exchanged email addresses and phone numbers and we've been friends ever since. Then the past summer, something happened and we had to admit to ourselves (and each other) we'd developed feelings that were more than just friendly. The really horrible thing about it is that he lives in Germany and I live in Canada! (Just a wee bit of a difference, don't ya think?)... so does the distance thing ever work out?

I guess it's just the evolution of relationships...

I've dated a girl from the net.. it was really good actually. i spied her on Myspace and we got chatting... at first i thought she was completely not my type, and she laughed at me... anyways after about 3 months of Online banter.. we finally met up at the Ring Road Maccas (hahaha) i sat in her car for about 4 hours and we chatted and listened to music.. it went really well.. we were together for about 10 months... and then she cheated on me with a mates little brother! Fun times!

i say Online dating is all good... but do it the right way, i've also been pratically raped by a girl who were infactuated with me online... and wanted one thing only... and thats not my game.

meet online in the right place... RSVP and Myspace are pretty damn Generic... but places or forums where you can both share a similar topic of interest will help narrow your search criteria
