Scrap that, it seems they pulled 24 hour work shifts and are now opening this weekend, just in time for Christmas. That leather cuff they've produced is looking mighty tempting.

Also, I went into the herringbone store on Collins and there did't seem to be any difference or any sale on, I thought they were closing so they would have had some decent bargains...

Not particularly impressed by the Prada store. The menswear is so pathetic as well as the men's accessories. Very well on the womens accessories, but I've never really liked Prada's bags, so I was just indifferent.

The staff were friendly, but they were all wearing uniform thingy a la David Jones so not very interesting either.

The store is immaculate though. Especially the display cabinets and shelves.

NOTE: Slippery tiles and way too bright lighting, so be careful when you walk in!

alot of stock was pulled from the original orders and given to other stores around the world because of the delay.

so stop hating and be grateful that a prada store of that size is even in melbourne, especially because the design is based on the look of the original prada store in milan. No other prada store in the world has the same fittings.

A little bird told me they don't put everything on display so if your after something in particular, just ask maybe. I guess the philosophy behind it is its a store for people who know what they want, and not for random shoppers who just walk by which I can appreciate. I'm glad Melbourne has a store of this calibre, it just takes us up a notch in the worlds eyes.

is it really a flagship store? .. there really wasn't a whole lot in there
major anticlimax given how long construction took. psh!
as an afterthought, it is pretty nice inside but the products themselves are a bit =/
