Packing - what to bring

I'm going to be in the Balearics this 15th of May onwards for work. I haven't been yet but i hear the islands are awesome. Ibiza, anyone? :)
In any case, i'll be staying there until the end of October, which means i'll see the season shift from summer to autumn. My concern is wardrobe. There aren't going to be as many shopping options there but i can't very well fit two wardrobes into my suitcase.
What would you bring? To see you through the seasonal transitions and still make the airline's max luggage weight?

I'd probably be looking at a few key coats and knits that you can throw over your more summery clothes to bring them into autumn. For summer dresses and skirts, you could choose ones that be teamed with thick tights when it's cold, or worn with bare legs when it's warm :)

Excellent advice. Now why didn't i think of that :) When things get hectic, my brain shuts off and goes on autopilot, which is not good! Thanks :)
