WTF - talk about showing your legal system is a complete and utter joke!

comes back to her self marketing ability you were talking about before.

you didn't expect a saga to unfold from this?
there was going to be something to talk about from the second that gavel dropped on her.

sit back and enjoy the show. ha ha

do we really care!? yes seems we do, me included. there should not be different judicial punishment for those with celebrityhood and money. But a different standard continues to exist.

I wonder where the rash was.
In any case, from what I've heard, a lot of DUIs aren't put in prison. To some extent, I think they're making a point of this.

Paris has been dropped by her Talent Agency

"There was a lot of tension between Paris and her agents for a while. Her legal messes have totally consumed her, and she was always a difficult client. The goal was to make her the Martha Stewart of her generation. It just didn't work out that way."

I don't understand why they'd drop her at this stage, surely you'd wait until she comes out to work out what her post-jail worth will be?

She will get $1,000,000 for her first out of jail interview. I was going to write one million but I find that putting the actual number down has more of an impact.

From NY Post
June 21, 2007 -- LOS ANGELES - NBC has agreed to pay as much as $1 million for Paris Hilton's first after-jail interview, which will appear on the "Today" show, The Post has learned.

And now the interview has been canceled.
