Paris in September

Any body go to Premiere Vision in Paris last week? We went it was great although fabric colours are a little dull and the mills are playing it safe.
High spot going to Mama Shelter for dinner. Phillppe Sharck new hotel.
Great cocktails, straight forward food.
Word of advise - when booking select your table so you get into the main dinning area!
Worth checking out!

I wanted to head there this year, alas I couldn't make my schedule conform to the desire!

Any new fabrics (as opposed to colours) that set tongues wagging?

Hi Daniel- Yes lots of small geometrics in digital prints, we use these for our shirts - also I believe finally digital print has come into its own - as it as overcome the necessity to look like digital - so we saw a lot of designs which we really wearable but included loads of colours - which you just cant do in traditional printing.
In terms of fabrics for womenswear there was real inovalion - cubist foam and metallic fabrics, loads of furs, embellished and engineered fabrics. Hard to describe, you had to be there.
Really you should head to Paris - I love it in September - it keeps you inspired through the long winter months!

I'm definitely have it on the cards; it's too difficult to get anything out of Premiere without having been there.
