I'm putting together a list of 'party themes', but after a bit of a brain spasm (i.e. not enough sleep) can't see to think beyond the Beautiful and the Damned, and the Great Gatsby.

So any suggestions most appreciated :)

80's! Maybe not that common, but definetly fun.

I had a burlesque theme for my birthday this year. Hired two lovely performers, everyone had a ball. Twas most awesome.

I like to go with things like 'red' and let peoples imaginations take over. Though some tried and true themes include:

* Good vs Evil
* Doctors and Nurses
* Space
* Hawaii
* Disney films

I could go on forever :D

OMG, I went to the most awesome pyjama party last month. They had a bed for us all to jump on and everything. It was the best execution of the old PJ party I have ever seen.

My friend had a party with the theme "Viking Bling" - basically had people with horns and ghetto gold all in one - pretty hilarious!
