Ohh I've been to a few absolute bangers!

Best one was "Double Denim" - my boyfriend managed to get a denim suit off ebay for the occasion, and everyone was denim'd to the max! Also, Steph mentioned Jungle...always a good option, and pretty easy to execute. A friend once did "80's Gold Coast" - big hair, fake tan, lots of fluro & white...

We're throwing a HipHop housewarming later in the year :)

this has a few suggestions and items needed for parties

Some friends of mine throw awesome parties. Heaven and Hell was a particularly amazing night. We were in a three-story place which was decorated in theme. It was great! The last party they had was a Powder Room party - the only stipulation was that you had to wear makeup. Some people looked absolutely amazing.

PS I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a rusty nail rather than go to another 80s themed party. O and another good one was Go As Your Favourite Album Cover. That provoked much hilarity.

haha a Victoria's Secret party would be awesome. Girls come in lingerie and have to have props ( wings or what not) and guys can come in some hot jocks or something - also with props. hahaha

emergency services was a really fun one i went to once, so was 'when i grow up i want to be a ...' disney is an awesome one. i am not a big fan of the skanky ones although they always end up being fun. i have also been to a wigs party and a hat party. i have heard about a lot of "country" themed partys like "mexican sware" etc...

Yeah I've been to a Casino Royale party and there was real gambling going on...where the host was actually paying out for wins.
I've also heard of Hollywood as a party theme, Halloween theme party, and also parties where you have to go dressed as something beginning with the letter --? (The host decides on a letter of the alphabet)
We have had a pirate day at work which I guess could also be a party theme.

went to witness protection on saturday night @ roxanne and they had a gym bunny theme... was a lot of fun
