had a moulin rouge themed bridal shower for my cousin which was amazing (no guys allowed tho..hehe they tend to spoil the fun)... been to some bizzare themed parties too, my absolute favourite was a hens night where we all had to go out and buy the most disgusting wedding dress we could find, and wear it!

I'm having a seven deadly sins themed one this year for my 18th; I'm assigning everyone a sin in their invite (with a disclaiming stating the sins are drawn at random and do not reflect my personal thoughts of the person!) and people can interpret it any way they want.
I've had a masquerade one too and it worked really well!
I can't wait for my 18th; I'm getting an emerald green corset made for being envy ;) Or a white one and I'll be the only angel surrounded by sin, haha.

Alot of letter parties are happening. dress as the letter G for instance. So boring. Pirates, boring, comic book, boring, does no one know a party planner or events organiser anymore. if u want common themed party jump on the lovemachine website. they have had everything under the sun. How groundbreaking. Sarcasim is dripping from my fangs.

hahaha be kind! a guy i was dating a while back went to a 'sex' themed party. basically you just went as any thing that reminded you of sex. alot of stripper, s&m, close to nakedness, fishnets, g strings, people dressed as dildos, or lazily pinned condoms all over them... it was interesting!

OH OH I HAVE A FANTASTIC ONE!
EVERY ONE HAS TO GO WEARING A MUSTACHE!
(well unless you alreay have one!)
i think it would be great as everyone would be 'dressed to impress' with a mustache!
GOSH..
Pure genius! ^.^

Steph that's a cool idea. I'd go with a big handlebar one.

I dunno if anyone has already mentioned this, but I forgot to mention it in my earlier post for this discussion.
Another theme is where the guys dress as girls and the girls dress as guys.
Oh yeah, I just realised that Steph mentioned opposite sex.
Well, this website wouldn't let me delete the post (I tried twice)...so sorry about mentioning it again!
