I was lead to believe that the days of patchwork pieces had gone with the 2003 hippie trend. I was so wrong! Because if Miss Selfridge is stocking it, it has to be a trend... again, right??? Well, I don't know what to think about it!

I would say that would fall under the current push of 'foho'.

P.s. I fixed up the photo on Paula's blog post so I'm not entirely sure the skirt was what she was refering to... Is that the line of clothing you were writing about Paula?? :)

I think patchwork can look very nice if done right. According to that picture, no. It's like a grandma's skirt in a bad way. The patterns, colors, patchwork style and coordination has to be done right. I'm not sure how ... but I think it's possible :D haha

It's not exactly the type I would wear casually, but when the occasion calls for a goody-two-shoes-impress-grandma look--I'd say go ahead. It all depends on who's wearing it. Though I must say, I'm not really a fan of this skirt in particular--but patchwork CAN work.

If this reaches the ankles, it's a no way for me.
