Hey just reading a bit about Helmut Newton, love his work. Just found some great stuff on him on the web.

I studied Newton while reading Arts and loved his work. My lecturer didn't, but feminists are funny like that.

He's an interesting person, really helped to take fashion photography along it's way to being a separate art form and paved the way for people like Terry Richardson. I love the fact that he spent his formative years as a photographer in Melbourne and that his studio is still there, have to visit it when I'm in Melbourne next.

Flinders Lane according to Wikkipedia, I'd heard it was still there in some form though to be fair I can't remember where I heard it, I'll keep looking anyway.

I'd love to find out, it was a penthouse studio apparently but I can't find any reference to the actual address.
