That is quite an original idea. Hats as lights. I like the association: you wear the hat on your head where all the "light" (intelligence) resides.

I would like to have a carpet sofa. They are called "East Meets West," and look like you¡¯re sitting on magic flying carpets!

I love the ceiling lights from Daniel's post. But aside from that I would love to have a sofa bed or two. That will really be cool especially when family an friends come and we do an overnighter. =)

Berlin designer Frank Buchwalds Machine Lights series is comprised of 12 steampunk lamp designs that are handmade in extremely limited quantities and look like they could have come straight from the set of Dark City or Blade Runner. The main structures are made of raw brass and steel, which are hand burnished to create a unique antique black and brown hue. The industrial design aesthetic, complete with visible coils, filaments, cables, and flexible brass tubes, really lends these lights their edge. Production time is at least four weeks depending on the model and prices are not for the meek (from $3,800 to $5,900, with Type 09 jumping all the way up to $15,500). Buchwald will also entertain custom requests.

Love the one on the bottom left. A little more simple and elegant but still with the steampunk feel.
