The Portsea Polo is back on in 2009 after being cancelled in 2008 due to the equine influenza.

Which fashionisers are going to come with?

Yay this time I won't be at the sidelines trying to control two champing and stamping ponies... I'm there. Gorgeous spring clothes and a glass of Pimms in hand.

Hmmm...never been to a polo event, so I wouldnt know what to expect. and its held pretty far from the city.

hello all, I am FINALLY back on line!!! woop woop. And I have NEWS I am moving back to Melbourne on the 12th of December, and am definitly hitting up portsea polo next year yaaayyyy!!!! Is fashionising doing a Marquee at all? Can anyone organise me a good ticket, or are we all just doing general admission? I want to fancy up and play with the cool people... polo husband watch out I am on my way! lol.

We're not doing a marquee alas, though I did look into it. They've changed all the prices for Portsea this year; ramping them up, and double charging on the marquees (you'd be looking at about $80-$100 and it would still be BYO!). Alas they've also decided not to sell any general admission just yet, so I'm still waiting to work out a plan of attack so we can have a hell of a day at the polo!
