We're not doing a marquee alas, though I did look into it. They've changed all the prices for Portsea this year; ramping them up, and double charging on the marquees (you'd be looking at about $80-$100 and it would still be BYO!). Alas they've also decided not to sell any general admission just yet, so I'm still waiting to work out a plan of attack so we can have a hell of a day at the polo!

i did notice that on the website but was slightly confused and couldnt make much sense out of it. Why are they not doing ga this year? Ok so now someone needs to get in with someone else holding a marquee lol. I am very excited... need someone to take me shopping for a new outfit for it though!

Once I find out about the good marquees I'll let you know. I think some of the charity ones will be worth the admission price.

In the past, have you trekked down there just for the day C?

Oh look I am hoping to book a house with a few people, I will look in to it more once I actually get home and find out who and how many are definitly coming with me. I havent ever ventured to the portsea polo because my friends have always been boring (hense the move and new friends) only been to the Weribee polo! Wooo hooo bring on a Cahrity marquee hot boys, hot girls (flat shoes :( haha) have you been going forver?

Alas no, it'll be my first trip out to Portsea as well - usually I head to Werribee as well!

Hey I'd definitely be up for it, marquee or not!
I've never been to the polo though and would be a real newbie *blush*

You've got the 'standing around for 2 hours' skills down pat Jaci (if Friday's queue was anything to go by) so suspect standing around watching horses and drinking shan't be too much of a stretch for you.
