I've been recommended the same marquee Corrine. Is that the one you'll head to?

Right -- I have my tickets locked in.

I'm finding out the details on the general admission, and I'll post here as soon as I've got them. They're limited, so do make up your mind as to whether or not you're coming so we can have a blast :)

Okay here's how to get ground tickets: click here. They are for general admission.

Or there's a marquee advertising on Facebook. Tickets are $140 for that. Ticket Inclusive:
Food through out the day
Drink; Beer, Red & White wine & Spirits
Give aways from sponsors
DJ after 5pm till close of Event

See you there :)

also what is everyone wearing? I had decided on a SHAKUHACHI
VIRGIN SUICIDE DRESS with black tassle flat sandles and my big floppy white Mimco hat I got for chrissie but I dont know whether this would be too casual... I know some people get really dressed up like for the races but I have always thought it is meant to be a little more concervative and casual than the races, like a traditional "picnic attire" am I right?

It's definitely tone down, and much close to picnic attire than anything else. I suspect I'm going to wear tan trousers, shirt, blazer and tie.

Are you sure you'd stay there the night? Quite a few people I've talked to are heading back to Melbourne for a night on the town afterwards.
