What do you all consider to be today's fashion world most pressing problems that require solutions?

As a more direct answer....What to do with the fabric innovations coming out of the Peoples Republic of China. The technologies involved are just a glimpse of whats a head decades from now [ IE. NaNo fabrics ]. IE the newly developed bustle skirts are now being tried out for the first time in 90 years, though much, much lighter than the traditionals 1880 - 1918, but are not gaining ground as expected when the new fabrics were used.

hi shannon. i'm really interested in this topic as well and would love to hear more about what you come up with. in my opinion some of the industry's most pressing problems are the treatment of workers in less economically developed countries, and the negative environmental impacts of the fabric industry. what else have you come up with?
