I haven't seen any of Project Runway (not sure that it even makes it to Australian TV), but this popped into my inbox today. Pretty stupid move on the guys part if it was intentional.

Fans of Project Runway and bitchy gay guys, brace yourselves: Season 3 contestant Keith Michael, he of the face like a bird (fine, a cute bird), may have cheated on his Project Runway application. A sharp eye over at Television Without Pity notes the similarities between many of Keith's portfolio designs compared with those of some major designers, such as Lacoste and Marni.

The images on the left are those that Keith 'designed' for his application, those on the right are from catwalk shows by Giambattista Valli, Lacoste, and Marni Spring respectively.

Yeah, you're right! I hadn't even looked at that aspect of it but their hair is indentical. It looks like it's just been run through Photoshop or something similar.

You're quite possibly right, im sure theres an effect that can make things matt and pencily looking, if it was the case though he is quite good at getting the crap around the edge off :)

Well, he did get kicked off the show for cheating in other ways, so it's not really like he has much dignity left to be torn apart from this revelation.

yeah, he did get kicked off for pattern books. the guy clearly had no creativity so its no big loss to the show. the sketches i cannot believe! who is this guy to think that he's exempt from all the rules of the show?!

Well, I think the idiot who picked the contestants should be embarassed for not noticing famous RTW peices. What kind of person can put on a show about fashion, but cant recognize Lacoste?

Here! Here! It's not like they missed recognizing a copy of a couture gown from the 1800's of which no photos are available, it was freaking Lacoste. He also had the nerve to say the pattern books didn't give him an unfair advantage, because obviously cheating doesn't help you win.
