Olympic chef de mission Dave Currie said the shoes would be "very stylish". Has he actually seen them, we wonder?

The vest, when viewed in the sketch and I hazard a guess when viewed in person (from a distance) gives the impression that the person has a medal around their neck. So even if you're a loser you look like a winner.
