Okay I went on a vintage splurge today:

* Aquascutum Mac, black. It's a tad large so I'm going to have this tailored in. It's quite an old one, By Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and an Aqua 5 so I estimate somewhere around 1959.
* A vintage military trench coat in a dark blue with silver buttons. I look like I intend to lead some army into war.
* Two YSL shirts, long sleeved in different shades of blue.
* A cable-knit jumper
* A tee from Harrods

Yup thats the one... but I am now having issues with net-a-porter something about taxes and customs and posting to australia... and I am really worried they are going to sting me with a massive bill? Has anyone brought from them before to be deliverd to australia that can explain this to me???

xxx Thankyou everyone! :)

A few things I picked up...

Boardies from Aussie Bum. Great fit, and they don't ride up, which would be scary.

A few tees from Xlarge that the pics don't do justice. The Chanel crying lion (in green) and drive-by-butterfly tees are new favorites =)

Loving the boardies, lion and butterfly tee's - super hot! :)

Corrine, I have shopped with net-a-porter many times and have found the service that they supply to be wonderful. I'm sure that you will have no problems.

In regards to customs & taxes, all online purchases(except for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages) may be imported duty and tax free if their value is A$1,000 or less. Imported goods with a value of more than A$1000 will attract expensive duties and taxes. However, some online stores will mark the value of your items considerably less in order for you to avoid such taxes. Hope this helps.

I found this Balenciaga for $500
It's big enough to use as a briefcase style bag...but is it "over"...it's from Summer '06 and very much in the same style as the "Motorcycle" bag which is, I believe, in its deneument.
Help!

Definitly not over... a bag like that realistically never dates, and you will keep it forever and it will be the coolest vintage bag eventually that everyone will try and kill you for!!!

I hope you brought it! I wish I had the money to buy a 'it' bag... one day I will lash out and buy myself a bag - it is the one designer thing that I really truely would love to own! (Even more than a Burberry trench...!)

Since you say I don't have to stop, Tania, I've recently picked up an agenda for 2007 and address book from Moleskine.

Finally - in March - have gotten hold of my Moleskin 2007 Diary, they are the best! So beautiful! I also got a gorgeous little elephant pen, and love heart stickers to note special days... I alsways end up spending way to much money in Kiki K, it is quite a disgusting obcession! hehe.... eek!

I've been very naughty. I just ordered these Juicy Couture Edith flats from revolveclothing.com after my boy banned me from making any new purchases. But seriously these old things? I've had these in the cupboard for months.
