I recently swallowed hard and got a fabulous pair of Fiorentini + Baker boots, not the every-popular three-buckle Eternity, but the Emma, which you can see here: http://www.pedshoes.com/fiorentini_and_baker/fiorentini_and_baker.asp?sid=&productLineID=1&vendorID=29&productID=482&colorID=1168

No regrets--the leather and workmanship are fantastic, and they are extremely comfortable. I love the lace-up detailon the back of the boot. Just enough without being fussy.

I just bought a cashmere pencil skirt in vicuna, a cashmere sweater, and a pair of Ralph Lauren shoes that are rather dressy looking. I was shopping online; Bloomingdales was having a fantastic sale and if you bought $300 (US$) you got 30% off everything (even stuff already on sale) and if you bought $400 you got 40% off. I've had really good luck buying online before from them (and Saks and Neimans). Please let it all fit!

I cant remember how to put them up? I will get someone to take a photo of me with it tonight and put it up! They are a New Zealand label still a bit unknown I think but are starting quite the cult following. They are all reasnobly priced too somehwere between $300 and $500 for handbags and then all of there travel bags are a bit more but I am not entirley sure. The website is http://www.deadlyponies.com/ i brought mine from a shop up here in Brisbane called Fallow which is the most amazing shop I have ever been in!

while on holiday in malaysia i went a little nuts- heaps of tops and cute dresses (i found a forever 21- which we dont get here- and went very nuts!) around 8 handbags, 4 pairs of shoes and pearls. I LOVE pearls and these are the real deal- saltwater natural pearls (from the markets- we befriended some locals 2 days before who agreed to take us and bargain the prices down!). I got a strand of large white ones, black ones (shiny black- not the muddy looking kind) and some gorgeous champagne ones, all with matchin earrings and rings. Also bought a TON of makeup duty free (chanel mascara 1/2 the price it is in the shops here!) I love changi airport!

I went sale crazy;

* Shin length overcoat, 100% cashmere, navy. $9k down to $1.5k. Better suited to me in 10 years, so I've loaned it to father.
* Ralph Lauren Black Label leather jacket, cropped style
* A new overnight bag, very Brideshead
* Quite a few business-casual pieces such as deep placket polos, all Italian made
